First Quarter (Reflection)

Hey guys, thanks for joining this week’s Wednesday Lunchtime Blog. Today, I just wanted to remind you that we’re heading into the last month of the first quarter of the year as it’s a great opportunity to reflect over what you’ve achieved so far. We all tend to start off the year with a ‘New-Year-New-Me’ attitude and we need to remind ourselves to keep up that momentum in line with our targets and where we actually want to be. It may be that you’ve become a bit lost; it’s coming up to March and you haven’t really achieved a lot. But don’t worry, now’s the time to reflect, revaluate and get back on track.

As it’s the last week of February, I thought this was important to mention and, personally, I feel this is quite an important time of year to make those changes you’ve been planning, whether they’re in your career, your studies, personal life, etc. Are you really on path to your short-term and long-term goals in line with your true self? Self-realisation is something I like to think about a lot.

This lunchtime is a great opportunity to sit back and think about your goals. I found this a really important task to today as I’m going through some transitions myself. I feel like I’ve achieved an awful lot in these first two months and I have a lot more clarity than I did last year. This time last year, for me, was a completely different kettle of fish and I’d like to remind you guys we all go through these difficult stages and it’s important to ask yourselves where you are currently and do you feel like you’re on the path to where you want to be.

Have a think about it, it’s certainly something I’ve been thinking about today and I thought it would be great for you to think about too. I hope this has been helpful to you.

See you next week!
